By accessing or using Reconn (“the Service”), operated by Reconn (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Reconn is a web application security scanner. You provide a URL and we run automated security checks against it, returning findings translated into plain English with suggested fixes. The Service is provided “as is” for informational purposes only.
You may create an account using a third-party authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Credits are purchased as one-time, non-refundable digital goods. Credits do not expire.
Foundry (Founding Member) Plan. The Foundry plan grants unlimited scans and access to all features available at the time of purchase, with priority access to new features as they ship. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time. If the Service is discontinued within twelve (12) months of your Foundry purchase, you will receive a prorated refund based on the remaining months. After twelve months from the date of purchase, no refund will be issued upon discontinuation.
You agree to only scan URLs that you own or have explicit authorization to test. You must not:
All accounts, including Foundry members, are subject to rate limits to ensure fair usage and platform stability. Abuse of the Service—including but not limited to automated mass scanning, circumventing rate limits, or any activity that degrades the experience for other users—may result in immediate termination of your account without notice or refund, regardless of plan type.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that scans will detect all vulnerabilities or that findings are complete, accurate, or actionable. Reconn is not a substitute for a professional security audit.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reconn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Reconn and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Scan results generated for you are yours to use as you see fit.
You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may terminate or suspend your access at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Edmonton, Alberta.
